New!! A Chosen Faith
A new Adult RE group will be forming this fall to discuss the book "A Chosen Faith" by John Buehrens and Forrest Church. It is made up of essays on each of the six sources of Unitarian Universalism. It provides one of the best introductions to our faith and is recommended for anyone who would like to deepen their understanding of Unitarian Universalism. We will meet after services on the fourth Sunday of the month. If you are interested, please contact Jill.
Fourth Thursday Group
The Fourth Thursday Group is a spiritual growth group for members and friends in the Wilkes-Barre area. We meet once a month (at 7:30 pm on the Fourth Thursday), usually in members homes, for fellowship and discussion of a book. Northern Lights Salon
A group for those living in the Clarks Summit area meets monthly using a salon format to discuss topics chosen by the members. See Event:Northern Lights Salon for times and locations of upcoming meetings.
Meditation Group
Do you meditate or are interested in starting? Are you looking for a group to support you in your practice? If so, this once-monthly group may be for you. We explore different types of meditation each month and provide a supportive environment for helping personal meditation practices flourish. The group meets one Sunday a month at 9:00 am, before the service. Contact David for more information. See Event:Pre-service meditation for upcoming sessions.
